Surprise!

When someone says they have a surprise for me, it drives me nuts. That's because I don't know what it is! I'd rather just be surprised then waiting for a surprise. Anyways the first and second graders at school said they had something to give me. Cool, I was hoping it was a chocolate chip cookie! But, they said it can't be given until Valentines Day! Ugh! I had to wait all weekend to find out. Patience is not my thing. It was worth the wait though because on Valentines Day (aka Single Awareness Day) I was greeted with a letter from every first and second grader. Although all were nice, one of my favorite lines was, "Miss B. you are so funny when you tell us we are full when eating ice cream." Another line was, "You are as pretty as a rose!". Yes, some surprises are worth waiting for.
