I have no idea where this got started, but truly makes me laugh now.
"Miss Burns," my student said eagerly. "I wish you were Korean!" After my other Korean students agree, my smiling fourth grader continues by saying, "Yeah, then you could have the last name Kong!"
What can I say? Kids say the funniest things, but I do enjoy my Korean kids.
