I love Bollywood movies. It's hard to say what my favorite part is though. Is it the over the top music, random burst into songs, or knowing that someone has to die to make the movie complete? Maybe it's the combination of it all! :)
My friend and I went to go see my first Bollywood in the movie theater a couple weeks ago. The movie is a remake of "Step Mom". Although not confident of my H*ndi, I went anyway thinking I'd enjoy it. I did!!!! What a fun experience. Of course, being the only white people in the theater was fun in and of itself, but I understood more of the movie than I thought. Of course, at one point everyone was laughing and I was not. Oh well. A highlight of the movie was when the actress started to sing the Elvis song "Jail House Rock"! Very funny indeed!
