Ode to Bobo

For those who know me well you know about my class stuffed monkey Bobo! He was an amazing monkey who solved math problems, wrote sentences we needed to correct, and even helped direct the Christm@s Musical! Bobo and I were off traveling over Spring Break...he even had a seat on the train to the Taj! He was not allowed in the Taj. So, he is dead....buried at the Taj with the great Raja! Or some germy kid has him!!!! All I know is that Bobo is gone.

My kids were very distraught. More than that, they were very concerned about me! "Miss B, are you ok?" I told her I was fine thanks. She grabbed my hands and kept going by saying, "What I mean Miss B....are you ok about Bobo?" After counseling from a 2nd grade professional...I'm getting over my grief to the acceptance phase of Bobo's death.

Here is my last picture of Bobo! He leaves behind a wife Bo and two kids Banana and Bay Bay!

My 4th and 5th grade class really misses him! Our writing assignment in class has Bobo and a crying Miss Burns in it! What a wonderful way to remember our favorite monkey!
